Who We Are

Pittsburgh Custom Home Technologies is a Home Automation/Home Technology company with projects in the Greater Pittsburgh Area as well as Chicago, Florida, California and New York.

Our goal is to have our clients technology be seamless in their homes to allow them to enjoy their audio, video, anywhere they want it, and to keep their homes secure and comfortable with control over their HVAC, Lighting, Security Systems etc. They don’t have to be a tech geek to enjoy technology.

Owner

Greg Calvimontes is the owner of Pittsburgh Custom Home Technologies. He has been involved in Audio and Home Theater since the 1980’s when as the owner of a camera store in the Gold Coast of Chicago he brought on Sony for their HiFi VCR’s and their first XBR TV’s. His love of all things audio-visual goes back to his youth and Sunday afternoons when his father would play classical music on his Superscope Reel to Reel tape player. Greg has years of experience in the Home Automation field, and as an instructor with CEDIA (Custom Electronic Design & Installation Association) teaches his fellow dealers at the annual trade show for custom installation on subject covering home automation, lighting, home theater and project management.
